Manny Cadima a life long Thoroughbred racing enthusiast is the founder and leader of Thoroughbred Racing Nation. A "hands-on" horseman, Cadima is intimatley involved with the selection, care and development, and racing of Thoroughbred Racing Nation's stable. In addition to working day to day with our team of professionals Cadima stays close to the "customer" by managing many of our partnerships.
Prior to founding Thoroughbred Racing Nation, Cadima founded the Louisville Thoroughbred Club, one of the largest and most successful fan based racing organizations in the U.S. and has served as the Club's President since its inception in 1992. In addition to working with Thoroughbreds and leading racing organizations Cadima is a student and teacher of Thoroughbred Racing. He organizes and leads clasess and seminars on breeding, horse communications and behaviors, handicapping, Discovering the Thoroughbred Spirit, and more.
When he's not in the barns, teaching, or otherwise working with racing fans, Manny is a Human Resources leader with one of the nation's leading manufacturing companies. During his career in Human Resources he has learned from, worked with, developed, and mentored many great business leaders and managers who have and continue to serve as role models for him. He combines this knowledge of leadership, teamwork, and communications with a passion for Thoroughbred racing to create a shared ownership experience where life long dreams can be fullfilled.
Gary Smith - A Louisville business and community leader, Gary serves as both a Racing Manager and Director of Client Relations for Thoroughbred Racing Nation. Smith is a lifelong student of Thoroughbred Racing and has a passion and instinct for the horses and the Thoroughbred business. When he’s not working in his commercial real estate business or serving community and charitable interests, Gary can be found in the stables and on the farms monitoring the progress our horses, communicating with our trainers, our farm managers, and their staffs helping to keep our clients informed and educated about the progress of their horses.
Anne Peters - A native of Pennsylvania, Anne was Three Chimney's Farm on-staff pedigree specialist when the farm stood its first stallions, Slew o'Gold and Chief's Crown, in 1985. She returned to Three Chimneys Farm in August of 2004 after 15 years of freelancing as a pedigree consultant and writer. She and co-author Alan Porter wrote the book "Patterns of Greatness II: The Americans" in 1995, and previous to her return to Three Chimneys, she was the editor of the industry journal Owner-Breeder International, the monthly pedigree columnist for the MidAtlantic Thoroughbred, and a contributor to the Thoroughbred Times and The Blood-Horse MarketWatch. Anne is also a partner with Patricia Erigero in the website "Thoroughbred Heritage".
Thoroughbred Racing Nation relies on a team of pedigree experts and advisors to develop our matings. Ann Peters is our lead pedigree advisor and has final approval authority for all of our matings.
